Workshop on High Precision Positioning and Vibration Control
This talk considers optimal design of frame structures for vibration suppression. The H-infinity norm of the transfer function from disturbance sources to the displacement outputs, which we want to suppress, is adopted as the objective function to represent the magnitude of vibration transfer. The design parameters are the cross-sectional areas of frame members. For minimization of the H1 norm ...
متن کاملVibration control of an automotive engine using active mounts
In this research, vibration control of national engine (EF7) using active mounts is studied for two different mounting layouts. The first layout is based on the current engine mounting of national engine (system of three passive mounts), but the hydraulic mount is substituted by an active mount. The other mounting layout contains 4 mounts, 2 of which are active ones and the others are passive m...
متن کاملPositioning the Golgi Apparatus
Ríos et al. (2004) report in this issue that the Golgi protein GMAP-210 is sufficient to confer pericentrosomal positioning and recruits gamma-tubulin and associated microtubule-nucleating ring complex proteins to Golgi membranes. The results raise the possibility that short microtubules emanate from the Golgi to mediate its organization and positioning.
متن کاملApplication of an active electromagnetic vibration absorber in vibration suppression
A novel active electromagnetic vibration absorber (AEMVA) is developed. It is shown that for suppression of steady-state response to a harmonic excitation, a proportional and derivative feedback control is equivalent to a time-delayed control. The study of the stability issue focuses on a conflicting goal of achieving the marginal stability of the time-delayed vibration absorber and the stabili...
متن کاملPositioning of Large-Scale High-Precision Stage with Vibration Suppression PTC
Abstract: In the positioning system of the large-scale high-precision stage, the primary resonance mode appears in low frequency even in the high stiffness stage. The resonance mode is a major obstacle of fast and precise positioning. In this paper, we apply vibration suppression PTC (Perfect Tracking Control) which can control the resonance mode actively on the largescale stage. Finally, simul...
